Who knows – maybe the other end will come within striking distance of the surface besides the river as well. Sump 9 has a dry bypass if someone was prepared to do some bolt climbing but the rest are definitely very wet.

The Murrindal Potholes Eastern Master Cave – aka Elk River – is Buchan’s Wookey Hole! Would that the early sumps had dry bypasses.
